Thank you for shopping with Banglar Bartender! Each of our food products are home made and handcrafted with care by Adhara Mercy. Due to the perishable and small-batch nature of our products, we have a specific policy regarding returns and refunds.
Our primary goal is your satisfaction, and we stand by the quality of our products. Please read the following policy carefully.
1. Pre-Order Sales
All products sold via pre-order, like the “Traditional Chinese-style Chilli Oil” and “Traditional Korean-style Mixed Vegetable Kimchi” for the November 2025 batch, are strictly non-refundable.
Regular order products are also non-refundable unless found damaged after shipping.
Why are orders and pre-orders non-refundable?
We source fresh ingredients and plan our production based on the exact number of pre-orders we receive. Your pre-order secures your product and allows us to produce the perfect amount, ensuring maximum freshness and minimising waste. Once an order is placed, that spot is reserved for you.
2. In-Person Sales
For the limited number of jars sold during Adhara Mercy’s visit to Dhaka, all sales are considered final. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for items purchased in person.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Items
We take great care in packaging our products to ensure they arrive safely. However, if you receive an item that is damaged during shipping or if you have received the wrong item, please contact us immediately.
To be eligible for a replacement or refund for a damaged/incorrect item, you must:
- Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your delivery.
- Provide your Order Number.
- Provide clear photographic proof of the damaged product and the packaging it arrived in, or of the incorrect item you received.

Upon review, we will, at our discretion:
- Send you a replacement product, free of charge.
- Issue a full refund to your original payment method.
4. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Due to the perishable nature of our food products, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for reasons other than damage or an incorrect order. This includes:
- Change of mind: Once an order is shipped, we cannot cancel it or accept a return.
- Taste preference: While we are confident you will love our products, we cannot offer refunds if the flavour is not to your personal liking.
- Incorrect address provided by the customer: We are not responsible for shipments sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping information at checkout.
